Pool Party Smiles

Here it is - the middle of the week already.  I can’t believe it is Wednesday.  I can remember when I was younger my grandmother told me that time goes faster as you get older.  I thought that seemed crazy, but I completely understand now.

When I saw the colors in this week’s challenge at the Paper Players I was intrigued.  There is no way I would have matched Pool Party with Rich Razzleberry.  It took a big of experimenting, but I found something that I thought looked nice.  Then I switched the Razzleberry and Pool Party around.  Not sure which one I like better.  Leave me a comment and let me know.  The layout is based on the sketch at MojoMonday.

  1. Oh my....they are both beautiful, but I LOVE the Pool Party one! Just gorgeous! Your stamped background adds such a nice touch, too! So happy you were able to play with my colors this week!

  2. Love the background stamping you did with the mixed bunch flower--I never would have thought to do that! Great use of the colors. Both are beautiful but I'm partial to Pool Party so love the second one. Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

  3. What a great idea to make two cards in the challenge colors! I think I like the Pool Party one better, too. The black really makes it pop. Thanks for playing along with us this week at The Paper Players, Cindy!
